in Japan people use GT wings because Circuit racing is very commonly practiced. The american guys who put them for looks are ricers because they put them for esthetics rather than function.

Ricers are everywhere. We just think we are home of the ricers, but i've seen website and magazines with ricers in S. America, Europe, Asia, Australia everywhere. It's very dissapointing. Here's one from S. America:

normally these are found on suv, trucks that go off roading, crossing rivers. its part of the intake so it won't suck up ne water while driving
