auto show revu/prevu
it was great, lots of people tho... the toyota exhibit was good... rsc concept off roading thing attracted lots of attention. they have like 3 matrix over there..... the celicas still attracted big crowds too..... i saw a few people take a look at the gauge cluster and walk away looking bewildered "they lowered the redline" or something like that... all the little kids wanted pictures with the celicas :D ..
other cars of interest that are there: LanEvo7, G35, mazda atzenda (spelling?), souped up mp3, and rally wrx (same as one on the wrc video) Also that RSX touring euro thing that bats posted
my entrance was free cuz the lady at the ticket counter screwed up... :p
anyway....if u have like 2 hours to spare, i'd definitely recommond going there.....

nope...didnt notice that tv.....looking at the car.... the back looked like a back, and the front looked like a rear....... that car was strange..... never been to an autoshow before... but saw a bunch of cars i wanted to see for a long time (Evo 7, g35) it was worth it, but the cars werent THAT crazy... but i was glad i went...and that was the basis of my recommdation :p

That Rally WRX was here for the Seattle Auto Show, though I wish Toyota did more at their exhibit. The Celica here was an auto GT. And a Matrix would be cool to look at.

I took some pix of various cars at the show. Got one of a project matrix, rsx, sentra spec v, and some other noteworthy cars.

If you live within reasonable distance, definately go. So many sweet cars. I was walking around for 4 hours and I didn't get to see everything.

I suggest going during the week. They are open til 1030pm Its not that crowded that you can check out the cars much longer and you can get through all the places within about 2-3 hrs.

This car had me drooling.... Seeing it in pictures makes it look cool, but after seeing it in person, THAT CAR IS BADA$$! I can't wait to buy it. The mitsubishi guy there said it would be de-tuned to 260hp. Exhaust and some other basic bolt on's should take it back up to 280hp! ;) The crappy part is that it will be available Jan. 2003 :( Notice which side the steering wheel is!

yeah, the auto show was okay....My favorite was the new Mini Cooper!!! Think about it, a small/cute car, with a supercharged 1.6 liter fourbanger, BMW tuned suspension, and a rich history for 21-22K! and girls dig it too...hehehe

Coopers have been one of my favorite cars. I always wanted to have one in my garage either the new ones or the old classics.

Yeah, me and my pops have been big fans of that car...I wouldnt mind buying a new one when it comes out but I would still have to have a bigger car to drive during the week...We were soo pissed when all 5 cars at the show were getting mobbed so bad that we couldnt really look at it from a distance...165 horsepower isnt bad for a car that weights 2500 lbs....I'm sure that when it comes out, performance hardware for it will be easily imported form europe..Hm...200 horsepower will be very tasty in that little car.! I'll take mine in Yellow with black top and gunmetal factory(which look like 17 inch Panasports) wheels...=) Oh yeah, the Civic Si (cant wait to see it dumped on sum Mugen MF-8's)and the Matrix were really nice also..Its just that, after all my problems with my GT-S, i'm skeptical of ever having another toyota that is "celica based" I might go again during the week when its not busy so i can actually take pics.
