nice to finally meet a lot of you guys, usually see you on here by only your username for last year or so :)

sorry that wasn't much to do (ok, nothing to do). LI sucks in that department this time of year. and especially with any kind of a large number of people (we probably spent most of the day looking and waiting for each other than anything else).

nice to meet the eclipse guys too.

feel free to post all your pics and stuff you took today. i'll probably get mine up this weekend cuz my friend left his transfer cable up at his college.

let us know if anything interesting happens back at your hotel. (as in, all your cars or rims get jacked or you get jumped and beat up) :D :p j/k.

BTW, next meet you should all check out is that one the guy posted about a few weeks ago. a giant memorial day thing started by the supra guys at englishtown. all toyotas welcome. it'd be cool if we got a giant turnout there, as there's tons of car-related stuff to do (drag strip and probably their new road course will be open) plus check out a ****load of nice toyotas.

oh yeah, and good job, you all probably turned jiggy off celicas forever. haha.

and ironically, the most interesting part of my day happened after i left you guys and went home. i dropped by a friend's house to drop off his camera, and i was drivin pretty fast (65-70mph) and i was falling asleep and ran over some train tracks and went airborne, F&F-style. it must've been a little high cuz i lost sight of the ground immediately in front of me and the tires squealed when i landed, plus the entire car shook like crazy and i bounced around a lot, almost losing control. good luck to maelfyn, that guy looked totally out of it by the end of the day, i dunno how he's gonna make it to jersey!

TWO MORE THINGS. the kid who said we'd just blare our radios in a parking lot is a ****ing genius. why the hell did we keep using our horns and letting our alarms go off? i just did it cuz you idiots were doing it. maybe i should ask this on celica.net

The meet was great...I finally got to meet all you peeps! See Hanwei and Liz--I came--yay! Everyone was so nice..I finally got to see the R/W dream haha. Too bad I couldn't stay for longer. and sorry I was kinda quiet, I get shy at meeting people at first, but then I open up :) I'll definately go to another meet around this area if there is one. Hopefully I'll have my red celi by then :D

Hey Gang!
As an Eclipse owner, I just wanted to thank all you Celica guys for your incredible hospitality at the Long Island meet today!
I really wasn't sure what kind of reception I would receive, and was amazed at the total class that was shown by all of you!
You all have beautiful rides, and should be very proud of them!!!!
When you get to my age (cough... 53.... LOL) you begin to realize that it's all good, as long as you love the car you're driving!
Once again.... Thank you, all, and please do us the honor of coming to an Eclipse meet one of these days!!!! I can almost guarantee, you will be welcomed in the same way you welcomed me today!

Okay...the meet was awesome. It was really awesome to meet everyone.

Liz(bagel), you're awesome. You did a great job saving Brian, lol. And you DC people are a great group. I hope we get to meet up again sometime soon. It was a lot of fun meeting you guys and checkin cars out, but our shananigans in the Hotel were also a high point of the meet. Next time, we need as much "car" time as we need "hotel" time, if you know what I mean.


Liz(jiggy), you're awesome. With our without a celi, you better come to the next BIG meet :) And, on a side note, before I forget, you're even prettier in real life than you are in your pictures. :D You should have been there at the Hotel...craziness...:) You would have had fun :)

Los(even though you can't read this), you're just as crazy in real life as you were in here. Don't ever change. Let us know when the next NJ meets are and we'll definitely try our best to make it down. I know I will. I don't know why I just bothered to type that...he can't see it. :rolleyes:

I had an awsome time and it was so great meeting everyone! Granted, we spent more time driving then anything else, but I still had a good time. And who could forget that guy in Manhattan videotaping 10 celis in a row! How we pulled off being the only cars on the block is beyond me. Mad props.

Liz, you are way too nice and we will have to hang out again.

Guys, the hotel was so fun!! The Celis looked so nice parked all together. I had a blast. I just wish I wasn't so tired. I wanted to stay up more!!! Carlos ended up showing about 5 minutes after you left and we all went to ihop. wish you could have made it. But the rest stop you were at looked nice in the photo.
