there's no reason to sell...you can turn that into your weekend beast and have your celi as your dd

good choice tho'...if we had consistently decent weather, and i had some flow, and could find one in decent condition, i'd prolly do the same thing

If I had the money, I'd definitely keep my car no doubt about that!!! But.. i don't unfortunately. The way I see it, I can sell my car for let's say a modest 13,500 buy an MR2 for about 7,000 and still have 6,500 to buy rods, pistons, body parts, rims, etc... In other words, I can have a really nice fixed up car (although older) for the price of my celi.

What year are you looking to buy? I think starting from 93 they come with bigger wheels and a lsd. Then again I can be wrong...It's a fun car to drive. My friend has 2 MR2s, one is the 1st gen NA and the other is a 91 Turbo. So sweet to drive at the autocross too. Best of luck finding a good one.

Definatly get a 91-92, or a 93 if you have to it, but as stated in other threads, the 91-92 is like the more 'advanced' version of the car. The 93 was dumbed down or something.

IMO that is THE BEST body design that toyota came out w/. I can :drool: over that all day. plus how can you forget the 3sgte:AF:

This sux!!! The MR2 I was supposed to buy was a 1991, Red, turbo, 100,000 miles with good paint. The guy sold it today for 5500!!! And why doesn't anybody want to buy a celica??? I'm having a hard time selling mine!

I agree!! The MR2's look bad ass when they're all hooked up!!! Now if only i can get one!!! BTW... once I get the MR2, you owe me a turbo!!! hehehehe :wiggle:
