basically, i have the veilside kit now and i'm considering selling it for another kit.

i still love the look of it but

a) it's the wrong colour
b) it's too much for daily driving (i've scraped multiple times)
c) it's quite heavy (for a GT, i makes a difference)
d) the cost of repainting it to match perfectly is more than selling it and rebuying another kit

i was thinking CWII first, but the fit is off, not to mention it's just as low as the vside front - not good. kam is also a good choice but it's overly popular, as well as being quite a bit heavier.

in addition, i live in canada and therefore shipping ANYTHING here is crazy expensive so this is what i came up with..

sell my kit
replace with stock front/rear/sides
order Molly kit, prepainted and have it delivered to a friends place in michigan
drive to michigan, install, drive back accross the border

what do you guys think? there's not too many kits out there that i like..

is the kam kit really more weight than stock?

Sounds like you have yourself a plan. What will the molly kit prepainted run you??

Ken - asshole ;) that's still my #1 choice, i still have to consider the buyout of my car (leased), the actual price of the rx-8 (cdn price hasn't been released yet), and insurance estimate as i'm only 23 still. going from a GT to a RX-8 could be a big shock. oh ya, that, i still live at home, i dont' have a full time job, and i'm still in debt makes me weary of stepping into a 40,000 investment

phatcellygt, from what i've read so far, it's 1350 prepainted plus shipping, i'll be calling them tonight
