wash and wax Injen engine dress kit! (HELP)

Hi..

last night I tried to wash and wax the injen dress up kit.

but!..after I used to wax on it, it became darker..some of black dirts on it....

it seems the dress kit's material is plastic...right?

I thought that's crom or shiny alum.....

what kinds of stuff should I use to remove the black dirt?

how to make it shiny??? cuz now it seems pretty thinner...

good ? man.. i waxed mine a couple times and never had anything rub off coming out like black.. i dont think its plastic.. im pretty sure its polished aluminum.. you might wanna try some mothers aluminum polish and see if that cleans it up.. rub really hard with it..
