Just a quick note to thank everyone for such an AWESOME meet on Saturday...not that I really know much about meets, or celicas for that matter, but I had a ton of fun learning. Everyone who was there was great! Thanks to Tim too who lent us his house and crappy grill ;-)(that would have been a smiley but my computer is stupid and couldn't load them ).

sorry 'bout the burgers.....

i tried my best and since no one else was gettin on it really i decided to lend my hands (maybe next meet we will be more prepared and that was only my 2nd time ever b-b-qing)

other than that - it was a fun time !!

just wanna say also - i did one helluva lot of driving that day (portland-seattle-portland-back home - 438 miles total in less than 12 hrs - but well worth it)

also... what did all you guys and gals do after i left ?

we just went driving around a little, which i got full footage of so we can watch it later. I was thinking i can have the next meet at my house, i have a kickass grill and a bigass tv! well the tv isnt that big but at least it is a tv. I am also about 30 minutes south of tim so a little bit closer for some people. Lots of room to park. And closer to Kanaskit, a place safe from cops where we can drive however we want! get some good filming in. anyway glad everyone had a good time, so did i that was the first really good turn out i have seen! and you burgers were good man, maggie is just picky.

I am NOT that picky...I didn't even have one of the burgers -- I had Don get hotdogs just so I wouldn't have to eat a burger.

Hey Chris -- I think it was more than the burger that made you sick. Hope you are feeling better.

Oh yeah, Don, that'd be a good idea to have it at your place next time we get some people together. Depending on if I can get some new wheels/tires maybe I'll do a huge burnout with the little bit of rubber that's left on the wheels that I have right now... in fact yeah, that'd be kinda fun!

no doubt man... that totally sucked, I was at work all sunday and kept getting sick... in fact I'm still sick, and it sitll sucks!

Anyway the organizer of the event wasn't even at the BBQ <IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm1.gif" border=0> hehe.

I plan on actually putting together an event in the future and actually PLANNING it out. Like maybe see how much it will cost for us to rent out a go kart track, or maybe see if we can somehow rent out SIR for the day and run the road course! Now that would be one HELL of a meet!

Tim..you've got the most perfect house..lol..it's great for meets..it's so OPEN and big..lol.

Now all you need is a TV..hah.

It was great meeting you all, and that SIR thing is an excellent idea.

We'll need to get quite a few people together to offset the cost...I do believe we have to pay for quite a few things, such as ambulance, fire support..etc...
