How hard is it to change the head unit and speakers in a 2002 celica? I do not have any experience with this kind of stuff so i was wondering if someone could please explain the process to me. I do not want an over the top system, only the head unit and speakers. What size speakers does the celica use?

Its easy as long as you know how to follow instructions. Do your research. Go to www.celica.net for the install instructions

Thanks for the replies and sorry for posting in the wrong forum. The car is a 2002 GT with standard audio.

the speakers are 6.5" for fronts and rears..
installation is cake.. all u need is the headunit, wire harness, and single din mounting kit, and you're set..
just get ready to cut and crimp wires.. or if like to solder, u can do that too

If i were to get a set of aftermarket 6.5 in speakers, will they just bolt in in place of the stock ones, or is there some special hardware required?
