i went to the track and i was getting high 2.4 60' so i think im doing something a little wrong.

which one is better?
ive talked to three people that have gotten 14.4's and one dumps it at 4500 and the rest slip them dump.
at the track i was slipping and dumping kinda high(5500).
i think im doing it too slow, like the slipping part.
ive been trying the dumping thing and i can dump at 4000 and it would catch right before lift.
i think this would be fast because your not going slow like slipping you just dropping it and flooring it.
which one is best for tires and clutch wear.
im confused which to use.
give me opinions please.
i was getting 15.1's on my two runs

dont dump.. dumping will just cause wheel spin, if you can slip properly it will be your best friend ;)

but slipping is a lot harder on the clutch.

depends how you look at it.. dumping the clutch will leave dump marks on the clutch.. slippign will do it all the way around :).

LOL You aren't kidding. That's how I went thru my first clutch @15,000 miles. Got in front of whoever pretty much all the time(whether I stayed there is another story:D ) Try the slipping/dumping method, slip til it gets traction and then slam on the gas...works for me

I think straight dumping is bad, i also think slipping for too long is just as bad. Try to slip it out quickly and consistantly... very quickly. You might get some wheelspin... but hey, at least you wont have to pull your motor to change your clutch like i have to :D
