I have a GT with GT-S rims, here's what the drop looks like. 2 inches all around. Tanabe Precedeo Super Downs. I love these springs, ride quality is still very good with original shocks.

Here ya go:

I've got the same springs with KYB AGX shocks. How long has it been since you've had your springs installed? Cuz after I let mine settle for about 3 weeks, the drop is a little more than whet yours looks like. I think it ended up dropping the height by 2.25 - 2.5 inches all the way around... (4 finger gap to 1.5 finger gap)...

It's been about a three weeks now. I've noticed that they have settled a little more now and I'm close to 1.5 finger gap. It almost seems like less of a gap.

did you have to get a camber kit ?

Acilec

uhm nope, it looks fine now. I'm not sure if it's necessary. I think anything below a 2-inch drop should require a camber kit.

I got the same drop, different size tires, I have no gap what so ever.

Any trouble navigating driveways/hills with a drop that low?

Looks good. Thinking of doing the same thing, but SF is pretty hilly... seen more than one lowered car make scraping noises in the the parking garages around here.

I didn't need a camber kit either, the tech was able to get mine pretty close to stock specs. As for scraping...it's not too much of a problem here in Cincinnati, but I'm getting a TRD bodykit soon...so I'm guessing that I'll have to be much more careful.

btw, does anyone know how much lower a TRD mechanical front bumper is compared to stock??

Thanks,

Usman

The mechanical bumper is the same height as stock.

Hmmm...it looks a little lower. Acilec, your car is very clean, and pretty much the same setup as mine, I like it...props :gap:

Thanks guys :)

Just gotta debadge the back, change my Yangston CF's to TYC reds and then I'll be happy with a total clean look :)
I'm going to try to take more pics of the inside as most of my mods are there.

Actually the TRD mechanical bumper is higher off the ground than the stock bumper.. I measured the ground clearance before and after the installation of the TRD and found that the stock bumper was actually closer to the ground. I can't recall the exact measurements but I have them wrote down somewhere.

Thanks for correcting me. I just wanted to make a point that it wasn't lower. :)

Ok. to answer some questions.

btw, thanks for the kind words guys.

1.) The ride quality is excellent. I do think that my shocks will need to be replaced in a few months, but I honestly do not notice a big difference in ride quality.

2.) I paid 200 for them and I picked them up.

3.) I bought them at Enjuku Racing (they're under the sponsor's page on this site). Talk to Ken, I got the last ones, but he'd order more if people are interested.

4.) Chuck, I think you'd be just fine with WW kit. Anything below 2 inches would worry me though.

5.) Yes those are TRD Eyebrows. Got lucky and found the last pair on a website 11 months ago. I think it was from www.romaniatoyotas.com

6.) As far as tint goes, I was told by the guy who did it for me that it was legal. Well, I got pulled over and the cop busted me for having 18 percent tint.

Yah the ride quality initially w/ the Tanabes is great, eventually your car get's real bouncy tho at highway speed, I couldn't take it anymore so I went to Koni's.

Tho that was about 9 months later

Hey Cabel! Do you have your 2" drop spring on your postsign photo? With the kit, it's seems to be low from the sides but the front does'nt looks as low to crush everywhere...

The look is awesome! I ask you this because I have the Eibach Sportline (1.8" front and 2.4" rear) and my Veilside it's on the way now...Want to know if I must change my springs.

By the way, nice car BRO!

He went to S3tunning

i did mine with my friend on tuesday. WOW! MAJOR pain in the ass. It's really not a difficult install; just time consuming (about 4-5 hours it took us), but your also gonna need access to air tools. I did it at my friend's brother's house, but you'd be lucky to find someone you know with air tools.
