Anyone know the specs for the GT and GT-S engines for the Japanese Celica's? Would they fit our cars?

They're the exact same engines, just with a different ECU since they have less strict emissions laws over there.

In Japan GTS is called SS-2, while GT is called SS-1. There are two grades for SS-2 ... one with 'super strut suspension' and the other without. I am not sure if GTS's equipped with such suspension system.

So the ECU pulls up another 10HP at the crank then. Isn't the JDM Celica rated at 190HP?

yah the extra 10hp comes from their gas
I think they got 98 octane minimun there so their ecu has different ignition and timing setting (I'm ignorant)
