im lookin through the classifieds now (read on and you'll find out why) and i noticed couple modded gt 5spds for sale. i wonder if we know them. they were askin kinda lots too...is the resale value of our cars high? das good if it is...

ok in what might be the shockin post of the new year, kinda mentioned to delo already some shyt of mine was gonna go down. anyways 2002, has been nothin but bull crap flyin at me, and it's only been a week.
lost ro (why i had to dig out friday), and now i might lose my car. see for some reason, my parents dont like the sight of seein me actually relaxing. i graduated so i figured, i can finally cruise. now theyre givin me this trip about sleeping too much which is total bull because the past 3 weeks ive been workin over 40 hours a week. in anycase they wanna charge me $300 for rent. i dont even have my own fckin room. well i do, but it's hard to explain. im not gonna get into it. so in short, im prolly ending up somewhere on the outside. i might be able to pull off rent and car payments (it would be tight tho), but the thing is the payments have been goin to the parents, because the loan came from their credit union account. so the minute i step out, i know they're gonna want the 15K+ i owe them. which i wont have. so i would be sellin the car. i probably wouldnt find a guy to buy (pay lil extra) the car with mods right? so i figure i would turn it back to stock ( i need stock tail lights dammit), and sell the car for like a nice number. then sell the parts. good thing i never bought the rims. i was {this} close to but they didnt have em in stock when i asked. and clint you can jus buy the nur spec from me i guess. hopefully soon. i gotta get dan to gimme an estimate for the repairs for the key mark and scrape on the front lip too.
anyways, so yeah, im lookin for a place for rent, das why im goin through the classifieds. anyone know of friends lookin for a roomie? i had one offer from someone at work, but im being real picky. i woulda had to move to mililani. i wanna be close to town (save gas - central to everything) so in other words: makiki/UH area, dont care if it's a building or house, jus wanna make sure i have the option of havin a dog, in case my parents/grandparents dont want to take care of my dog. plus i need parking. im also gonna be lookin for a new car. well not new, but you know what i mean...

and i get blue LEDs for the dash, but i dont think anyone is brave enuff to try eh? i'll jus keep em for my future car, whatever that is.

but yeah, if anyone can help me with my residential situation, lemme know, kinda striking out a lot cuz the new semester starting so lot of stuff filled up already. mahalos...

jeezus!! mmm hey you and I are in the same boat right now I suppose - I may also be kinda striking out soon. Been looking the past week at studio apartments.

I already pay $400 at home, which is alright, aside from car payments, and stuff for the Accord, but it's been getting nuts at home already. Complicated, but let's just say I'm getting a little too old for some of the crap I deal with. I'd rather pay the extra dough and move out.

I considered getting a two bedroom and looking for a roommate - but I'm super picky. Most of my friends I would never live with - a lot of them are undependable financially. I'm also picky about location, and parking - has to be secured and covered. I dunno, still looking.

This sucks that you'll have to sell your car... mmmm why not refinance it under your name? Getting a loan for a car is relatively easy, especially thru a credit union.

Funny how parents can be tho eh? Every time it seems like I'm having a little bit too much fun, my rent and other stuff starts to go up. I end up having to work harder and harder just to stay at a level of financial stability that I enjoy.

If anything, yeah man, I'll take the Nur Spec off of you and the TRD SS. I hope in the end you don't end up selling your car - most likely I know you'll work something out.

If you're really going to have to do this, maybe we should put our brains together? If I'm also going to bail, I'm gonna need a good room-mate. I'll keep ya updated on what goes on.

Also, terrible news to hear that you and Ronnica have split. I kinda figured that might be what was going on last Friday, I've seen that look WAY too many times on my friends faces - and mine. Only one thing makes you bail like that. Funny how the shyt always seems to hit the fan at once tho right?

Myself, I've sold my stockers to the guy that was asking about 'em - for $550, and I'm kinda feeling low about it, but I'm also relieved to clear some space in the garage and take care of that already. Prob is I won't be racing for awhile unless James lends me a pair of rims. :)

hey yeah, thanks guys. pretty much everything is for sale, i forgot about the small stuff like that. antenna $10, chrome trd license plate $15. that reminds me, i should prolly restick the emblems ah (gts, toyota, and T grill in front)? if anyone like the custom grills i made lemme know, i havent figured a price on that. that one i put lotta work into for cut, fit, paint, etc. alex, the only exhaust i really have for sale is the TRD, cuz me and clint were both getting the nur spec, but i ordered it already, and he didnt. so now it's kinda liked i jus put in the order for him. oh and the car is a 2000, with i think a little over 13K. i jus hit 13K last week or so. im not sure how much id be selling it for really. i gotta look to see what other people are asking. at this point, prolly start it off at $20K/obo. i know i aint taking less than $19,000. the trd oil cap is scratched up. you can look at it, and if you want em i'll sell em for $20. the trd carbon look stickers comes in a box set of three. those are kinda expensive. if you guys only want one, $10 each. if you want all three, $25.
hey i forgot, i also get the AEM pulley! its blue and the belt is for the gts. still new in da box. $60

clint definitely lemme know on your situation, i totally know what youre talkin about finding a responsible roomate, im paranoid about that, so i jus wanted my own place. but you are definitely someone i could count on, a real responsible guy, ideal choice in a roomate. plus, id still be able to admire the celica, even if it aint mine :) but yeah, goin solo makes rent big, even for a studio...splitting costs with a roomate definitely makes things cheaper, especially when the landlord covers all utilities, then you dont even have to worry about that part. seems like the only thing that we would have trouble agreeing on is location. i know your two jobs are in the pearl city area, so it would make more sense for you to find a place in that area. but im really wanting something in the makiki/UH area, and if anything, move further west like kaimuki. i no like go east cuz no offense, but i know it would be rough livin in ghetto k-town. anyways, lemme know how it goes for you, and keep me as your #1 choice for a roomate!

as for refinancing the car, i kinda dont wanna do that. truth is i really dont wanna have to carry such a huge burden on my back when i start payin rent. i make enuff money, but i could be makin more ya know to not have to worry... i figure i'll have enuff bills to pay with rent, expenses, and cheap car payments/insurance. i could swing payments and rent at my house, but to me, thats not really an option. keeping the car would be nice, but i know my situation wouldnt be a happy one. it's gonna be hard, but i know i gotta let go. gotta get my priorities straight now.

i'll be lookin for publisher's clearing house to come a knockin and make everything better :D

yeah its the import intelligence LED things. basically you cover the existing orange leds and stick these on. its ALL red tho. thats the look i wanted. never like blue in it. you guys are more than welcome to check out everything. jus keep in mind i dont know exactly when everything will be stripped and sold. im off friday so jus gimme a call then.

oh yeah. how reliable are 96-99 maximas? if a 96 is cheap enuff, i might go after that...

Those Maximas are EXCELLENT cars - very reliable. The powerplant is about as rocksolid as you can get - basically almost the same engine as in the venerable 300ZX.

I would think that would be a very nice choice indeed.

Pretty rough way to start the new year. Whew. Well Jay, I will see what is kind of rentals are around. I know rentals come and go really fast. I handle some rental properties now. So far they are all 100% filled and nothing you or Clint would like anyway. Even I wouldn't rent there unless I had to or it was free. You are pretty much well-off with the classifieds for rental ads. There is also at most supermarkets a rental guide and buyer's guide for homes, etc. You might want to check that out to or go online to Honolulu Star-Bulletin or Advertiser that might be better. I checked on that for a few friends. Well if u need help or support let us know!!!:)

the wedge bulbs are white, very conservative lookin. no where near as bright as regular bulbs.

if you want bright, the HIDs for $400 :)
