How long more you guys plan to keep your celi?

it's no secret the 8th gen will surely be out soon, so we wont be the "new" celica. im jus curious to see how many of us will trade in for another car.

as for me, i think im gonna keep this baby for a while seeing as it's my first car i bought new...i plan on modifying it until i think im done, or cannot afford (including like another paint job :))...then when i become sarari man like mark it'll be my daily driver and i'll be pimping a m3 or something :D

If I buy another car, I'll still keep this one. But I'm prolly not going to go new again, I have pretty firm plans to start working on an AE86. Sean's car is just way too much fun.

Since I'm only 17 right now and I probably couldn't afford to buy any car, I'm probably gonna stick with this car for a few more years or at least until I get a turbo. heh.

I have no idea..i love this car way to much to get rid of it...besides it will be paid off when the next Supra and Celica get here. But if the GT-4 isnt coming back...im not getting another new car.

im planning on keeping mines for another year or so. My dad really wants a luxury car and he thinks im at the ripe age to either move out of the house or join the military or something (he wants me to join the air force). My next car is probably gonna be something old. Im currently working on a 240 but i was looking at an AE86 later on. Something about the old school style is really appealing to me nowdays. PLus everyones gonna be rolling around in the new Lancer evo's, WRX STI's, RX8's, and 350z's so i want to be different from the crowd. Plus if everyone gets hachis we can keep doing the same thing were doing now.

i hear ya jay! i plan to keep my car until the real dough starts rolling in too....hopefully it'll be enough for me to be rolling up in a BMW or some kind of luxury car...then ultimately (hopefully before i turn 30), although it's a little far-fetched, i'd like to purchase my dream car...ACURA NSX baby!  :headbang:

Who knows how long I'll keep mine. Once I paid off my 240 I got the Celica. But then agian the 240 was having some problems. I'm pretty sure unless I come arcoss lots of money I'll keep it for a while. I put a lot of money into it already.

delo, i think u can afford an NSX before you hit 30. I seen some early 90 models going for around 30K. Its still alot but if u live on PBJ sandwiches for awhile you could afford it.

hehe, it is so naughty it kills :D but as for my next car I am actually going to start a full mexican style low rider :D (got to get in touch with my roots :D) and either a hachi or an 89ish mr2, I really want to build a drift car so the next one of either of those cars that is available in sh!tty condition for extremely cheap i am going to nab :D
