CARBON BLUE PAINT SUCKS!! Suggestions?

Hey whats up so cal peeps! Do you have mad ass chips and scratches and dings all over your celica?? Cuz I Do!!!! The F-N Paint SUCKS!!! What am i going to do? Ive tried everything..clay bars..G-27 scratch removal with crayon thingy...Anyways...does anybody have any suggestions??? Places to take my car??Anything in so cal would help..Thanks y'all..Much love!

Glad to see I'm not the only one having paint problems (my GT is also carbon blue)...

I've had my paint chips touched up, resanded............and they still show.

how much and where did you get that done?? do they do paintless ding removal ?? cuz i got a grip of those f-n dings.. hey where in irvine are you at?? im in Turtle Rock Vista alright then... peace

I made at least 6 separate trips to the dealer (up in Nor Cal) to get due bills and to have the paint chips (caused by rocks flying from semis, go figure) touched up. The last trip they sanded it and it still looks like sh!t. At first they told me that if I had a mask on the front the paint chipping would have never happened. Well, I do have a front-end mask and that would not have helped. What really pissed me off was that one of the service managers told me that by me having a darker color (he suggested I should have bought silver or white) I would run into these problems. :rolleyes:

I contemplated having my car entirely repainted but was quoted about $4000. I don't know of any reputable body shops around here, but you might want to ask Irvine Toyota where they send their cars.

Paintless ding removal...hmmm...I'm sure they do that. You might also try an auto parts place to see if they have scratch removers and whatnot. They worked for me.

As far as where I'm from in Irvine...UCI. :D
