sony xav-7w & ps2

i have the 7 inch sony monitor and a ps2 but when i hook up a power inverter to the ps2 i get some lines and bad display on the screen any help would br appreciated.

I know this sounds simple but are the video cables plugged in securely? Sometimes it's the small things. Also where you have it mounted do you have enough wire slack? Check for location as well maybe you need to move it further away from the power wires, do you have an amp?

Can you get the lcd to work with any other source? You need to make sure you ground the ebrake wire.

also, if you have the inverter plugged into the lighter, it's gonna get noisy power

i have tried hard wiring the inverter also and the picture still gets vertical lines going through it.
