well im on two, going to work this morning i hit a damn hare the size of a small dog. some how it seems like it split the left front bumper at the bottom, and tore the bottom plastic that houses the cai half way back. I can tell i was draggin the bastered for a couple of seconds then finally ran his punk ass over with the back wheel. May his ass rest in hell....so what else is going to happen.

Question: will insurance raise my payments if i claim this? The only other thing that i have claimed was the hail storm damage. I just paid the deductable and all was ok.

it shouldn't. it doesn't sound like you were negligent in any way. however, the more claims policy holders make, the more it costs the insurance company to do business. i never made any claims when i was with progressive but my rates went up every year because they claimed illinois drivers made too many claims and they would lose money.

all things considered, this wasn't your fault and should be covered. i don't think your rates will go up for this but that doesn't mean they won't go up for some other reason.

i'd file a claim.

i dont think its a matter of wether or not your negligent.. i think its the fact that whenever you cost them $$ they are going to try and make it back..

You better believe that they will try to get it back somehow. When I still lived with my parents, my family went on a deer killing spree. We HAD TO make 3 claims in a course of about 3-4 years. (my mom, my brother, and myself all hit a deer and messed up our cars pretty good) well one day we get a letter from the insurance company telling us that we need to "be careful" or we'll get cancelled.

WTF ... .yeah like we control a deer running in front of a car in the middle of the night?!!!! :mad: :rolleyes:

well it looks like i have a reason to speed up the purchase of a body kit. After calculating the cost of the deductable, rental, and gas for the rental for at least two weeks, i come out cheaper getting the kamanari kit.

Oh i forgot, i almost got arrested by the polizei because i didnt call and make a report. guess my tags got called in when i stopped, to make sure the fuc*er was dead. I know thats mean but damn it, the rabbit f-ed up my baby. he had to pay with his life.

Update on the abs brakes. I was in such a rush to get my car that day i didnt notice that on the "new" purchace order abs brakes was not listed, as they were on the pre order form or the old purchase order. So basicly i f-ed up, and have no abs brakes. Whats funny though was the bank had the old purchase order on file and quickly got the current one from somewhere. Now im not the smartest person in the world but i think something got pulled over my head. :confused:
