Hi all! How are ya? I need your opinion! I have a spectra blue celi with 17'' Konig Tantrum, eibach sportline and gonna install my Veilside bodykit soon...

I must paint my brakes to make a clean overall job. But I have a GT and what is the %$%?!$#%!&$# rear brake on GT??? Yes, a DRUM...A DRUM:bang:

What color should I paint my brakes to fit the ride? I was thinking about silver, black or even spectra blue like the car but I don't want my drums to look too shiny or something like that!

Thanx for your help guys!!!:)

Black. Other colors just emphasize the fact that you have drums, so why make them stand out?

Don't paint them man. I've seen Honda's with painted drums and it looks awful.

I agree than black will don't stand out and more than that, I think the wheels will look bigger...What do you guys think? But I want to paint my front calipers the same color than drums and BLACK....That's not very sweet! It's like terror or something like!

I saw a pic with Spectra blue Celic and the guy has painted is drum blue like the car and it look very stand out...Mmmmmm!!! Very dificult to choose.

Any of you have pics or links to them? I think it will help!
Thanx guys!
Max

Why the hell would you say that? Lots of really expensive calipers come in black. I painted mine black. I want people to see the wheels, not the lame stock brake caliper. If I had some AP Racing 4 piston calipers, then sure maybe I'd want people to see them. I'd just as soon have the stock ones bland in.

my calipers are painted alluminum, they match the rims and the car, everything on my car matches, looks awesome, i left my drums black too.

I saw a Spectra blue celica pic with the front calipers painted the same color as the car and DAMN! It's very clean! I think spectra blue for the front brakes will looks cleaner than silver. And for the drums, I think I'm gonna paint them BLACK.

But if, one day, I could see pics of spectra blue Celica with black painted calipers and drums, maybe I'll finally decide myself!!!
