well my first impressions wasnt that great. i felt that i wasnt getting the service that people were raving about. the first time i called to get some information and price quotes and the guy said that i should call back when i "have the money ready and was ready to pay"(something to that nature). i got my information and told him that i'll call him back in about 2 weeks(cuz i had midterms coming up and didnt want to deal with the rims till after, sorta like a gift after studying). like hell i was going to call him back! didnt even write down his extension number after he told me it!
Well the second time i called was today after i got the extension number of the guy who helped redline with his rims. the new guy, george(ext 280), was really helpful. and in the same time he was giving me info on what came with the rims, he seemed really enthusiastic about helping me out and above all, getting the information correctly. the only time that i was disappointed was when he told me that the 225/45 es100s were not in stock. he then said that with 225/45 gave him a red tag or whatever cuz it doesnt fit the size for the celica. i'm pretty sure thats a little white lie, but i'm glad he said that. i just wanted my rims and so he recommended 215/40, but i wanted more tire so he said 235/40 should fit fine. i then asked about wheel locks and he said they would be about 20 dollars, BUT he'll throw them in for free. again, i'm pretty sure those are something that tirerack would throw when the wheel locks are only 1/100th of the cost of the rims and tire package. even tho, its always feel nice to be offered free stuff. makes you feel like your appreciated as a buyer and that they will help you as much as possible.
the second time, tirerack did live up to it's reputation. i would recommend them, especially george to help you with all your wheel and tire needs.
btw, i bought 17x8 ssr competition with 235/40 yokohama es100s
