GTS vs Merc Cougar v6

So I was going home from work last night when this mercery cougar passed me, it was pretty sweet looking, it had a body kit on it. Well, he seemd to have slowed down a lot, and I was on cruise control, so I passed him. After I passed him he passed me again. So i turned off cruise, and opened my bottle.(just in case) :-). So I jump on it and passhim, we do this back and forth. Well, our exit came up and we both merged onto I81, this is the best spot to race, exact;y 3/4 mile to exit off 81. So he passes my just before we turn onto I81 and I get RIGHT on his a$$, just as we merge with I81 he stomps on it, I can see the fumes puff out. :) So I armed my nitrous, dropped into 4rth and punched it. I was about 2 1/2 car behind, but next thing I know I am 6 cars ahead at about 119mph so I shutdown and got off the Interstate. With so much more torque it was better for me to just shift into 4th @ 65mph, with the higher gear and nitrous I got moving quickly.

Went home.

Not much of a race, but it was kinda fun. Had to use the nitrous anyways. :)

Im not real sure about this one, but arent the cougar's pretty slow anyways? I would think you would have been able to take him out without the nos right?

Oh heck yes. I just hadnt used my nos in a while.
I've raced a moded cougar with I/E with no problems.

Now that were on the subject of NOS, Im just interested in how it is working in your car. Ive herd everthing about them good and bad and unfortunetly have never ridin in a car with NOS. Is the boost THAT good? Im sure you can feel it, but it is a huge difference like fasnt and the furious (haha, i know not that big, but just give me an idea). Also, have you had a chance to take the heads off to see if any damage was being done to the pistons or anything?

can ya feel it..yeah baby.. i can feel it :)..ahha...seriously when the nitrous kicks on and the pressure in the bottle is good, damn, hold onto your seats :)

1 - 3 is like f & f but 4th gear is ok, but not as good as 1-3.
1-3 puts your eyes in the back of your head.


And larry, I have my bottle heater working and holy **** it makes all the difference!!!
