I had a friend try and install the indiglo gauges, but when he put the pins back on they never returned to zero, and they don't work at all. Can someone help me out on this, or have any solutions on what might have gone wrong? Thanks to anyone that can help me!!!!

Make sure that both of the electrical connectors on the back of the guage cluster are firmly seated.

Hmm, so the needles don't move at all? The needles aren't rubbing against the indiglo face are they? Do the needles and gas/temp guage light up? If they don't maybe a fuse was blown.

Yes they do light up, are you supposed to take the original face guages off, or leave them on? Also are you supposed to leave the needles off first and then start up the car, then put on the needles?

The indiglo gauges should be a simple layover. Needles should be on before starting the car. Try and disconnect the battery for a few minutes, put the needles on, connect battery again, then turn the key to the ACC position. Mine jumped then went back down and works fine. Although I never took my needles off.

you were not suppose to take the needles out since they are lay over faces... but if you did.... turn off your car and put the key position onto ACC for about a minute or so... and restart... if that does not reset the needles, then disconnect the battery and reconnect.. that should work..... u should followed my instruction of installation or BYEBYEBABY's too badd j/k:D :D

Hey I have question since this is concerning with needles. If you take off the needles to do LED work, and then put them back on, does it matter how you put them back on? since I had the impression that the car had some sort of automatic calibration that would return the needles correctly and so your speedo or RPM wouldn't be off... <---- Confused......

i had that happen to me before. the needles are way off. put the needs back on at a higher rpm/mph. then move them back to zero. start the car again, and they should start moving. do that in every which direction until you get the needles moving again. it will take a few trys to actually get the needles back in the right position since he it seems that he didn't remember where the original settings are.

when the car's not moving you can reinstall the needles where they need they usually are rpm wise. the speedometer, i suggest following a friend at a set speed and then deciding how much the needles are off. pm or e-mail me if you have any questions/problems.

also, as impulse suggested, make sure you have the right needles on the right face. they are different sizes. the needle for the speedometer is larger.
