fuse keeps blowing in 1992 toyota previa

wondering if anyone can help me, on my uncles 92 previa, in the engine bay, theres a fuse box with 4 fuses in there, anyways we replace the 20A fuse and it would blow. It is labeled as "AM2", I have no idea what that is. there is nothing done to the car and the car wont start now. I think we wasted like 8 fuses haha... any help would be nice, thanks

well one thing i would recommend you DON'T do is use a bigger fuse. i've seen people make that mistake before...

do you have the book or something should say what each fuse is.

nah that was the problem, when they bought the car they didnt have the handbook, so i have no idea what that fuse does..

well i did a search for AM2 fuse and came up with another toyta. anyway, it said it was one of the two fuseable links. i take this to mean its a main fuse for a lot of stuff. the ignition was one thing that was on there.

so its hard to tell from that what the problem is i guess. maybe a wire grounded out somewhere who knows.
