...a black Cavalier with full body kit, rims, etc, with TOYOTA emblems on the back and Focuz decals on the bumper!! I just looked at him and gave him a dirty look. I am gonna tell everyone in Tucson to look for this guy and make fun of him! LOL Sorry, just had to share with my Celica buddies...:D

LMAO... theres a car like that around here too ... but i think he purposly does it to cover up his rust marks. He is cool though .. its his sense of humor. He got the damn thing modded pretty cool too. LOL so he does win some races.

welps, i guess we american car consumers got our revenge. we get watered down versions of everything. but they get the CAVALIER THINKING ITS A TOYOTA!!! MUA HA HA HA :D so sad.... but there was this weird orange cavalier that was all decked out.... coulda passed for a civic:rolleyes: at the LA auto show. i guess they were trying show the ricers that cavaliers are fair game too....

yeah I saw that TRD Z24 in Sport Compact magazine. Supposively, there is only one in the USA. It was white though. It had a body kit, TRD badges on it, and everything.

I have seen a few of these so called Toyota Cavaliers. I personally think that Cavaliers are ugly as s**t but that's my opinion.

My boyfriend owns a Pontiac Sunfire GT and we went to the J-Bash up in Lordstown, Ohio last year. They had someone with a Toyota Cavalier there. Toyota emblems, etc.

These folks talk about it on their boards at www.j-body.org and also talk trash about our Celicas.

And yes Toyota has the Cavalier under its badge in Japan. Not to mentio the TRD Cavalier is acutally quite nice looking!

Damn, I knew Toy and GM had a plant together or whatever, but I didn't know Toyota let them put the Z24 under their badges in Japan! I stand corrected! However, I don't think this guy had one, maybe just trying to emulate one.....hmmmmmmm, interesting.

Yes Toyota had sold the Cavalier in Japan. Keyword is HAD. They stopped a while ago because the sales were DISMAL. Or at least, that is what Motortrend reported a while ago.

Yeah, that white TRD Cavalier was owned by another guy in Chicago before he sold it. Actually a pretty close friend of mine when I owned a Z24. He told the story of how he got that body kit here.....insane what he went thru.

He's a true car enthusiast.......the real deal willing to spend big dough to make an exceptional car.
