hey, just thought i'd go ahead and give everyone my e-mail (codywellons@hotmail.com) so you can send the pics from tonight. yall didnt get stopped by that cop did you? i'm glad none of us took off real fast at that light (that would have been kinda fun to get a 3 celi race though), but i saw him pull out and follow us anyway and stay behind everyone else after i got on 75. by the way, anyone in the GA area that didn't make it tonight, we started planning an atlanta area celica club so please post if you're interested. right now, we're planning on trying to meet once a month or so and then have other things from time to time at people's houses like cook outs, helping with installs, etc. also, if anyone has an idea for a name for the club, please post it too.

I'm interested for sure! I wish I had had my camera out to get a pic of the three of you lined up at that red light. It was classic! I don't have any ideas for a name yet, but when we think of one and get it going, I might be able to get windshield decals made for everyone. hey dan...we had a good time the other night, too bad you missed it. me, barry (bling), mark (2kgtx), duncan (cbr600drm), and one other guy not from the board were there. there was also a previous gen yellow celica that was pretty nice. i think we had more celi's lined up than any other type of car, it looked really cool. check the other post about "pics from the nov. 9 meet" to see what it looked like. we're gonna try to meet about once a month now so hopefully you'll be able to make it out to one sometime. we're also looking for more people to join our new celi club so you should check that out. if you're creative, help us think up a name too.

hey duncan...like i was saying the other day (even though it was half joking) the varsity might actually be a good place. it's right in downtown, so it would be a good central location for everyone, and they have a kinda tall parking deck right by the city that we could take some good pics at. plus they have really good hot dogs...haha...but i'm up for any location really. we still need a name for the club too...i've been thinking a lot but still can't think of anything that really sounds cool. anyone wanna go ahead and try to get a day together for the next meet? just about any friday or saturday is good with me, except maybe dec 1 if i go to hot import nights in ft. lauderdale (you still goin mark?). if anyone has days that they definately can't meet on, let us know and we can try to work around it. hope we can get something together soon though...

That would be cool with me Cody. We can at least all meet there and take some pics before it gets dark and then go somewhere else if everyone wants to do something else. Dec. 7,8,14, or 15 are the only fridays or saturdays that I can go. Just an idea but what if we started meeting like the first saturday of each month? I say saturday because it is hard for me to get to Atlanta before dark, and especially if the celi needs cleaning. If we did it on saturday we can sleep late, get up, and still have time to get the cars clean and get to the meet before dark. Any thoughts on that? Still no ideas for a name. I'm thinking..........still nothing. Sorry! Oh well, I'm looking forward to our next meet.

I wasn't even thinking about a name using the 7th generation. That would be cool! You know all the clubs like "Wicked Illusions", and "Twisted Dimensions"? How about "7th Dimension". I'm prety much kidding. I think most of the cars I've seen with those stickers are ricers, but it does sound ok I guess. "Concept 7" Somebody needs to think of something having to do with the "Is Fast" idea that someone mentioned at Waffle House. That picture is cool Cody. We really need some pictures with more light. I'll bring my camera again next time. Hopefully it will work for everyone to do it earlier in the afternoon.

Now that I think about it, I think Concept, and Dimension are both words that are associated with the rice clubs too much. Phase Seven sounds cool! I like that logo too!

If you saw the post of that meet in Cali, that is why. It just made for some really cool pictures. I doubt Atlanta would be as scenic in the background, but it could still be interesting. Another idea could be Hooters. Then we could get the Hooters girls to take pics with our cars. That would be scenic as well:spinning

in all seriousness, i do think that my favorite idea right now is phase 7 though, it just sounds cool. also, mark e-mailed me and he can't post on the new forum for some reason, so just thought i'd mention that if anyone was wondering where he was. and we're not going to HIN now, so that will free up that weekend(dec 1) if anyone wanted to get together then (although i think somebody said they couldnt that weekend, so maybe the 7th would be the best day).

Yeah, I like Phase 7 the best so far too. If it was me you were thinking of about not being able to make it to a meet on the 1st, I just didn't think about the 1st being a saturday also. The 7th would give me more time to get an exhaust though.:D It doesn't really matter though. It could work for me.

I'm back, That sucked I had so much trouble trying to post after Larry switched servers but I got it fixed thanks to Cody thanks man. By the way I will not be going to HIN I have to work that weekend but I will at least be here if we decide to meet that weekend I do think that it is a great idea to have the meets on the 1st saturdays of the month that would be cool. I like TIT for the name but not to sure how we could put that on our cars might pose to many questions, Good and Bad

hey, good to see you made it back mark, glad the stuff i sent you worked. yall wanna plan on the 7th for a december meet, and then the 1st sat. of each month after that? that would be cool with me. also, did u order your exhaust yet duncan? if not, make sure you check with david draper at wc toyota (i think i already mentioned him though), he'll get you the best prices on everything. oh yea, i'm getting my wing and hood scoop put on tomorrow too :) (as long as everything goes well at the body shop). i'll post some pics once it gets done...

Whats up Mark? Its good to have you back! I'll mark the 7th on my calendar if that works for eveyone. 1st Sat after that would make it easy to keap up with. I haven't ordered the exhaust yet Cody. I guess I'll try to email David Draper about it. I have to make sure I don't spend all my money before my car payment and insurance payments are due. I hope to have it on by Dec 7th though! What is the deal with the warranty? I think mark said he was told he could put it on himself..? I hate to pay Toyota to do something as easy as bolting an exhaust on, but I want to be sure to not void my warranty.

The 7th should be good for me. Do not pay the dealership to install your exhaust. They will probably try and rip you off on the price. Besides it really easy. Takes about 45-60minutes. There is no way that I can think of that an exhaust would void your warranty.

Don't worry about voiding your warrenty I talked to Cobb County Toyota about mine since they are a TRD distributer and they told me that it won't void my warrenty. Marrieta says it will but they still haven't said a word about it. By the way I just got my DSL working and it kicks A$$

yea, i wouldn't worry about the warranty either. i've done all that stuff to mine and been to the dealer a few times and they haven't mentioned it messing up the warranty. the dealer will really rip you off on installing stuff to so i'd either try to do it yourself or if i can give u some people's #'s that have helped me with my stuff too if you don't wanna try it on your own.

I emailed David Draper Thursday and he said not to worry about the warranty either. He also said he would get back to me friday with the price and he never did. He must have forgotten. I probably will order it as soon as I get my next paycheck. Have we decided where the next meet is going to be yet?

i'm not sure if anyone else had any other thoughts about where we should meet, but i was up in downtown the other day and ate at the varsity. while i was there in the parking deck, i saw that you can't really get a good shot of the whole city from there, so we might not wanna plan on it as our picture spot. however, my dad reccomended going down by turner field cuz there's supposed to be a few big areas down there where we could all park and take some good pics w/ the whole city in the background. we might wanna meet somewhere easy to find though and follow each other around til we find a good spot for some pics. also, was everyone cool w/ phase seven being the name? if it is, i'll try to make us a web site in the next few days.
