I'm trying to see if I can get a go to promote a 15% sale on all products from http://iptmotorsports.com and http://iptdashkits.com -- this would of course be a "limited time only" sale with prolly a 2-week (or maybe month) long duration.
Before I really push to make it happen, I'd like to see if there's anyone interested in taking advantage of a sale like this. This would include ALL IPT products, from True Mold Engine covers on down to aluminum floor mats.
Just in case some ppl were already considering buying a few things with tax refund money, this can save just a little bit more!

If this gets enough interest, I'll make it happen! Let me know what you think (but please don't ask me to go 20%, I'm pushing my luck with 15% as it is)!!
BTW, this 15% sale would include all makes and models too, not just parts for the Celica.

Brian sent me some pics he had available of their floormat kit for the IS300. The Celica kit of course is cut differently to fit, but the mats (pattern/material/quality) are identical aside from the cut. This is just to give you an idea of the quality of the pieces.

Anyone got pics of the True Aluminum or Titanium Dash Kits in stalled? They sound great and all, but I'd like to see what it looks like installed first.

IPT doesn't have too many pics of Celica kits installed... but there are a couple of pics of Titanium and True Aluminum kits installed on other cars that I'll post for you, just so you can see the finish. The pieces included with the kit will follow the schematic I posted a few threads above.
mangoboy7 will be taking pics of his new True Aluminum kit for his Celica just as soon as IPT ships him a replacement solid piece for the cut out Toyota symbol on the sunglass door cover that he didn't want. Hopefully he'll get his replacement soon! :)

A short review of IPT's True Aluminum kit done by IS300.net: is300.net review (http://is300.net/modules.php?name=Columns&pa=showpage&pid=18&cid=11)
The Titanium kit is a simulated finish, and NOT real metal. Titanium flake is used to create an accurate luster, and the clear finish gives it a shiny gloss. The True Aluminum kit is what you want if you're looking for a real metal kit... with a flatter luster than the Titanium kit.

cool thanks, can't wait to see the pics mangoboy7. That cleared up the whole titanium vs aluminum debate though. If I get anything I want real metal and no clearcoat.

no problem! I'm waiting to see how the silver/black CF kits look when they come in... but I'm really thinking about picking up the True Aluminum kit myself. I think it'll match the brushed aluminum faceplate on my Clarion DRX925VD well. :)

not a dumb question at all! I never thought about that. I'll forward this question to Brian and see if I can't get an answer for you on that... but I don't see why not.
I'll let ya know soon as I find out more info. :)
The answer is yes you can get it solid

So, is this going to happen? For how long??
QWKsilvr808
02-28-2003, 10:27 AM
Definitely! The weather has been iced over down at IPT's offices and they've been shut down the past few days, so they're playing "catch up" right now and things are going to take a few days to put into action. Give me a bit of time to get everything set up with the coupon code discount, but we are a GO for this.
I'd like to hold this sale for all of March, so you'll definitely have some time to join in on this one! I expect we should have everything set sometime early to mid next week, at which time I'll post up a new thread informing the public that the coupon code is now active for the 15% discount.

GOOD!!! That will give the IRS time to get my refund to me!!! Its funny that if you owe them, they want it right now and charge you interest and late fees, but if the IRS owes you, they take thier sweet arse time!!!
