Well since your not getting rims for a while. I say go with the hood. It would tacky with a body kit with 16 inch rims. IMO!!

I think a CF would look good, but a kit would stand out. I see this integra drive around it just has a black hood. You could fake the funk.

So what is your point? If a company can make a red CF hood, the can certainly make a white one.

Umm...you're not really supposed to paint them. :ugh:
You can, but very few people paint the whole hood. Look at show cars, all the carbon fiber hoods on them are unpainted with the exception of a small bunch.

People seem to forget all to often that the point of a CF hood is not show, but go. It's made to save weight not look good.

:werd: But some of the people on these boards don't understand that painting a carbon fiber hood is ridiculous. For one, you're hiding the fact that you have one. Two, you can save money by getting a fiberglass hood and paint that. Why spend all the money on something that is carbon fiber (although most CF hoods have a fiberglass skeleton) and paint it?
I can see painting parts of the hood, for graphics, or something of that nature, but painting the whole thing defeats the purpose of standing out and making people know that you are serious.

Does it really matter what other people percieve what you car has??? If you paint it then they dont know you have one, better for you!

CF hoods were designed with performance in mind. Every lb counts bottom line. BTW painting the hood only makes it heavier. ;)
