you know i never realized how quickly nissans depreciate in value. the 95-98 240s are right along the same price line as the maximas. i might be considering those now too. if anyone knows someone selling their 95 240 or maxima in good condition for a nice price lemme know!

mmm! 95 240SX 5speed, $8000 plus SR20DET installed for about $5000 = car that wipes the floor with Celicas every day of the week. :)

lol. like i said before, im tryin to avoid all that modification stuff, but i wonder how much maintenance would need to be performed on the turbocharged engine...

Yeah I loved my 240 when I had it to. Nothing like RWD. there is a minor difference in the suspensions of the different years too. the 89-93 has a lower skidpad numbers but the suspension was tigher and more performance orientated. 95-98 they softened it up and it pulled higher skidpad numbers but you couldn't be has agressive with them. Well in stock form anyway.

hey have you considered a GS-R? Jeez these things are going pretty cheap nowadays - 95-96 vintages for about $8k. Mmmm... or a nice 92-3 240 in good condition, maybe 3-5k tops, slap the SR20DET in there and you could still be under $10k. Then swap the silvia tails in and a drift wing... very nice!

I vote for 240sx + sr20det. A guy at Sonics has that setup and he is one scary *******. Nice guy but behind the wheel is a speed demon. damn car will do solid 12's with good traction. To build would cost way less than a new car. You would royally kick some tail with that... :D

i was thinkin about gettin the s13, but i guess im high maintenance too cuz id rather jus get the s14. i like the look better :) altho i gotta find out if the 97-98 s14 projectors can be swapped without modification with the 95-96... those projectors really make the car look mean :)
