is it possible to super or turbocharge a gt-s

I heard from someone that it isnt possible to super or turbocharge a celica gt-s b/c it has too high of a compresion.
Is this true?

If it is then would it be better for me to get a gt instead of a gt-s?

it's possible...but difficult...check the FI forum

gt would be more boost compatible due to lower compression, but the gts can always get lower compression pistons too...anyhoo, go check the f/i forum out...there are several options for boosting a gts...whoever told you was mistaken and probably meant that high boostin' a gts would not be a good idea with stock internals...
