I don't know about anyone else, but I am finding it really frustrating to try and get parts for my 2000 Celica ZR.
I contacted RMM, but the shipping costs from USA (+ exchange rates) would make it prohibitive.
Other brands like APR and Hotchis also don't seem to have any dealers in Australia.
How on Earth are you supposed to get parts for Celica's?!?!?!?

Trust me I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel like I'm hitting my head against a brick wall with some of the speed shops I've dealt with in the past.
On top of the advertised price you may see on US or Japanese site for parts for the Celica. You need to factor in:
-Reputation of the company your planning to deal with
-Exchange rate
-Delivery cost/ETA
-Australian Taxes (10% GST & 15% Duties)
-Intsallation cost's
-Any warranty hassles or issues.
I consider this board to be full of good information on any product your're looking to purchase. Plenty of feedback on pricing/installs/opinions/reviews. In the end you need to pay to play. Just shop around to get the best price possible.
If you think OS products for Celica are a bit over your budget when you factor in delivery cost. Maybe go with custom made local products. Such as whiteline for custom made front and rear strut braces.
Jetspeed and the like for copy body kits of RMM bodykit and other brands etc.

I have the same problem. I enquried about the Blitz SUS Intake from Chiptorque, and it is about $500. Everything else is not available.
Even finding good quality alloy wheels at a decent price was a hassle for me, although I admit I am a picky bastard. :)
Honestly, the best thing to do would to do custom work to your car. If done properly it would be almost equivalent, if not better quality than some of the "brand name" stuff out there. Just make sure yougo to a reputable workshop. I had a custom 2.5inch stainless steel exhaust, mandrel bent with a straight thru magnaflow muffler for $500 fitted from Liverpool Exhaust here in Sydney. The sound is awesome, although a bit loud, and a slight improvement in the top end. TRD & Apexi N1, if available would be around $1200. And it was a proper fitment with braces and custom brackets ect. Here is a pic:

I'm in Canberra, so we don't have the same selection of workshops that you do in Sydney.
It seems like a bit of a hassle to get 'custom' work when you only want simple bolt on stuff like air filters, strut braces and springs etc..
Maybe my Celica is doomed to remain stock.....

There are 3 versions of the TRD exhaust, 2 US and 1 Japanese version. All are made in Japan. US version's are all stainless steel & more free flowing design. One for bodykit and one for stock rear bumber . Basically pipe is longer for muffler to match extension of the bodykit. Japanese is more dull in coulour and shape. Cost is aprox $1500AUS from the US for US version.
I'd recommend King Springs, few other guys have them on the board as well.
I'd sugest just because Chiptorque are the Australain distrubtors of Blitz, don't go to them first. Go to a local speed shop and they will offer a lower price even though they will purchase of chiptorque anyways. Thats comming from personal experience for a Blitz Power i-D Meter I purchased. Point is remember to bargin to get best price and build repore with local speed shops so they know you and give good price.
You might as well get a whiteline custom front strut brace if you like the RMM one becasue they are off the same design style/quality.

Im going to sell the car now though. I want to get a Skyline GTSt..
Celica is costing me too much!
Anyone want to buy a 2000 Celica SX blue with these mods? I dont really want to sell it but i live right in the city and I dont really drive it anymore.
