I just finished installing my Tein S-Tech springs. Here are some pictures. Advertised drop is 1'4 all around. It'll probably settle in more in the next coming weeks. The car feels like it handles a little better than stock, and so far haven't had any problems with bumps and potholes. :)

when you compare his sig to mine (the posts up top) I still cant tell the difference. That color is sick tho, in direct sunlight it is a great looking blue.

Yeah. They were 18'' Gunmetal. Selling them b/c they're too big/heavy and I won't be getting a body kit anytime soon.

finger gap is about 3 fingers. my fingers are kinda small so probably 2.75 for most of you. i measured it again today.. and its a little less than 3 fingers.. so its settling quite nicely. not too sure about the clearance. i can measure if you want me too. at first i kept scraping everytime i go up my driveway, but i learned to go really really slow.. and that worked.

damn, i'm trying to get those springs! Are you actually scraping with the stock front lip? how does it feel vs. stock now because it settled? who installed them

im not really scraping on any speed bumps except my driveway (which has a pretty high slope) but i learned to take it real slow. and yes, its lower than the sidewalk/parking dividers so you should be careful when you park. i think thats the case with any springs for the celica. i drive on avg. 40 miles per day and it feels like stock. it does feel slightly bouncy on rough roads, but thats barely noticeable.

me and 2 friends installed them. i think as long as you have access to a spring compressor and atleast have one person helping you out who has had past experience with lowering cars, you'll be fine. oh also, the rear was a beetch. gotta remove the plastic panels inside the hatch and so little space to work with under the car.

thanks for the compliments. carbon blue is a different color than black, it may look black at times when its dark, but under direct sunlight, you can see a hint of blue. the funny thing is that this morning i woke up and was like wtf. my car is definately lower than the pics i posted, less than a 3-finger gap now.

lawnmower19, ill check the clearance over the weekend. :)
