Look at the inside of this Celi. I was thinking to my self how hard it would be to drive a "euro" car. Put yourself in the driver seat and pretend you are shifting. Maybe its cuz I have been shifting with my right hand forever and thats why it seems so strange. This car would be easier for a left-handed person, but I don't think I could ever do it. Has anyone driven a car with right-sided driver? Am I just being dumb? I need to get to bed, my mind is wandering again.

One time at an arcade i saw a right-hand-drive racing game and i sat in it just to see how awkward it would be. It wouldn't be that hard with any 5 speed, but if i was driving a 6spd GTS i would be in for some misshifting fun.

At the moment, I've got a lefthand drive car (Toyota Avensis). But now I moved to the UK, and need a righthand drive car, cause overtaking now is kinda dangerous with a big blind spot in the right mirror. So in a couple of months, I get a Celica and hopefully it'll turn out OK, since I've never driven a righthand drive car before...

Driving on the left only occurs in England, not the rest of Europe.

What's up with that? :-) Leave it to the English to have their own ways (no pun intended of course).

Best wishes,

I would feel very awkward shifting with my left hand. It's a question of habit I would say. When you learn it that way, it feels natural for you.

I believe Great Britain, Australia (maybe New Zealand too?) and Japan are the only countries where they drive left.

Johan,

I bet you were picked on in high school.. You are always posting rude comments to people. In fact, every time I see a post or yours its one of these childish ploys for attention. . If my topics bother you, perhaps you should refrain from reading them. And remember, no matter what your father tells you, no one has the right to touch you in your bathing suit area...

Is everything opposite. I might be able to do left shift but ..my left foot is a spazzz.
Left foot clutch? I'd have to get an auto.

Left side of road isn't too bad. I had to get a drivers licence in Japan once..drove a standard Chevy P.U. ,.. not too bad.
