well... two months and alot of irritating delemas with insurance and body shops and all the ya-ya later.....

I GOT IT BAAAAAAACK !!!

the only thing that sucks is that it just doesn't feel the same anymore.... it's a wierd feeling.... kinda like really worried about whats gonna happen next.......

insurance finally came through.....not !!

I look at all this as a joke now because i screwwed myself......

they reimburrsed me for my rims/tires....actually re-bought the 19"axis hagens because insurance wrote the check out to the tire place not me......(shows how much they ****ed me around)

they also reimburrsed me for my dvd unit...... but not the tv monitor (not a manufactured stock item from toyota)

fixed all the damage done to dash/windows/body/ext...

and.....

thats all !!

so....from all that KICKER stereo setup i had in the trunk($8k).... oh.... i got a big whoppin' $1,199.99 out of the deal minus a $240 deductable....

now i gotta start all over again......sucks to be me !!

Do you have pics of your stereo setup in your car? Do you have receipts?

If so, I would talk to a lawyer... You had taken out extra coverage (I remember you stating that at one point) on these Items, which you paid a monthly premium on. You have a case, and I would persue it...:mad:

well... to remind everyone about what had happend it went kinda like this -

night of nov.7th i was heading to a party were there was alot of girls...beer....and some forsure action (so i thought)

about 10 miles before i would've gotten there my differential went out

couldn't get the celica to drive at all for some reason (wouldn't go into gear - alot of sickening sounds and shakes coming from engine/tranny)

called my friend who was at the party and he came and got me and we decided (bad decision) to leave it (wanted action) and we'd get it towed to toyota the next morning when we could get the expedition and flatbed

two dip****...crackhead....fauckers came by and decided to have a few rounds with my car (striped it of stereo and rims and smashed up the passengerside with a crowbar - dents and jabs)

the dip****s were stupid enough to be doing this on a busy road during daylight hours

cops caught the first guy before i was even notified and caught the second later that evening (retrieved a bunch of my stereo gear - damaged)

both guys got charged with 1st degree counts of felony theft and vandalism and another charge of transportation of stolen property

my lawyer talked with my insurance and insurance basically through a little trickery on how my policy was written out denied me of the stereo because of me not having "stereo endorsements" i had up to a $1000 stereo coverage witch obviously was not enough

my lawyer said that it would basically be fighting for nothing and it would cost more for me to do it than what i would've recieved back so i didn't persue it

now.... the car sat at toyota for nearly a month waiting to get fixed but insurance wanted to basically take there sweet-ass time getting me my car back

toyota had all the parts ready to go but insurance wouldn't get off their asses

i litterally defied insurance and went down to toyota and got my car back even though the windows and dash were all ****ered up and the celica wash pretty smashed up

i tracked down my insurance adjuster and got on his ass along with the agent and we arranged for my car to be taken to another body shop that would get it fixed within 10 days

turned out it was like another month because that body shop seemed to only work when they wanted to so....

i received and beat the livin piss outta the rental they gave me and finally got my car back

end of story

i am persuing with the prosecuting attorney to get a settlement from these guys that did this

i should be able to get about $10,000 in restitution from 'em

(not bad i guess)

as for moving up to renton area....

Pure Racer - hell yeah i would do it in a heartbeat !! i lived up in federal way, tacoma (summer '00) and miss it everyday. prior to that i lived up in kirkland. i would need to get a job somewhere up in the area before i'd move. (gotta few ideas ?) i'm going to be starting college in the fall at seattle art institute so yes...i'd like to get up there before late august and have some fun !!

da808GTSboi - the shop where my car was getting fixed wouldn't put my RodMillen body kit on (stupid idiots) they said the kit had to be molded into the car (trying to get more money outta me) i am currently looking for another shop to just paint them and i'll install myself so.... i'll keep ya posted (numbers still the same)
