attn: "supercharged" silver gt in central NJ

i was going to work today on rt 1 in edison, and i see a silver celica, i come up closer, and it has a carbon fiber TRD emblem. i look closer still, and it has the "supercharged" TRD emblem logo that comes with supercharged solaras. Does everyone know what emblems i'm talking about? this guy had like 3 sets of those, one on the rear next to the "GT." and one each on the front fenders. The car also had a trd elegant full kit. stock gt alloy wheels, and stock spoiler. He also had a red and white trd sticker on the driver side mirror behind the door. Are you on this website?

Anyway, he is a million to one chance not a ricer, but I am saying there is a chance... Supposedly there is a s/c in Japan. But I am sure that supercharger sticker is as good as a Type R sticker, netting about 400HP.

I don't know if he does / doesnt, but on a related note, wouldn't it be easier to have a custom supercharger made rather than a turbo? Seems like it would be. I'm surprised this hasnt been looked into more (seems like everyone on here has looked into a custom turbo job)

SC Camrys and Solaras do not come with any emblems from TRD. All that that it comes with is a cheapo plastic Kazuma license plate frame and some cheapo stickers. I tossed them all out. The CF Supercharged by TRD emblems do come with the Tacoma/4Runner SC kits. This guys is definitely a ricer.

This just goes to show that any joe-shmoe can say, or have a sticker on this car that says he has a supercharger on his Celi. The scary thing is that some people would still believe it, without any sort of proof. But I think most people on this board know better (I hope!).

I've seen a car like that here in sacramento. Same emblem you are talking about. Some girl drives it, its a base automatic GT. Its pretty funny, never got to ask her how much power the supercharger is putting out :D
