question on exhaust

hey ppl.. yeah i know theres a thread on exhausts already but i have different questions and i dont like changing subjects on ppls threads cause maybe they didnt get a straight answer yet.. anyways......

1. which is better??.. a TRD or greddy exhaust??

2. does the TRD sound better than stock??.. excuse the lack of knowlege i have.. :rolleyes:

3. wheres the best place to get the TRD??

2. yeah, from idle to 2500rpm you dont hear much, 3000rpm up you and the people near by will hear it...

I have a TRD so I can only comment on that. 3-4K there is a louder exhaust sound, mostly when cruising. Overall it's louder and has a nice non-ricey dog fart sound. It definitely improves power above 6K but won't add a lot to peak. TRD is definitely a nice stainless steel exhaust, and is almost have the size of the muffler, and it removes the little extra muffler towards the end of the exhaust... whatever it is.

The TRD is also two pieces. The stock muffler is one large awkward L-like shape, so have fun finding a place to put it, let alone find a box for it.

One of the most kick ass sounds you can get is from an intake. The exhaust will drown it out though :(
