View Full Version : Upgrading to 03 HID's?

I am getting both of my headlights replaced due to condensation in them. Is there anyway the dealer would upgrade them to HIDs if I add say about 500 dollars since i am getting the stock housings replaced by warranty. Anyone try this?

dont think they will let you do that....but it doesnt hurt to ask

They will only do it if you pay for the HIDs regular price. I just had my headlight housing replaced a couple of weeks ago because of condensation and that's what they told me + labor. They have to replace more then the housing I believe.

It would be nice though having factory HIDs properly aimed etc.

i would just rather get aftermarket HIDs, i've seen the 03 HIDs in person and they are not as bright white as my Catz kit... also oem stuff is usally $$$

Well, talked to the dealer and they told me it would cost 1100 more for the conversion. Just the wiring is 600 already. They are going to replace both of the headlights. So I decided to jump in the the xenondepot GP and got the 4100k kit.
