Anyone setup an amp on their stock GTS stereo system using high level inputs from the rear speakers? Anyone have experiences with the Smart Engage on the MTX amps???

Yes, I have an amp running of the stock rear speaker wires right now...

So do you have the rear speakers running, and just tapping the rear wires for the high level inputs for the amp?

Yeah, the rear speakers are still running. Just spliced into the wires and ran to the speaker level inputs on the amp.

Actually, does anyone know how to get access to the rear speakers????? URLS/pics are good.

You'll need to remove the rear seat backs (and metal brackets) and the door sills. It helps to remove the seat bottom too, but is not necessary. There are 2 plastic clips joining the panel in front of the speaker and the panel in the trunk area. (hidden by the seat back) Now the panel can be popped out and slid towards the front of the car to remove.
