My Injen CAI sucks up some major water everytime it rains. I just got my car back after a month stay with Toyota dealer to replace a bent rod. I need to find some thing to keep the water from the filter. I have already orderd the Injen splash gaurd but would really like to have more protection. Does any one know if the AEM bypass will work on the Injen CAI? Please let me know if anyone has an idea. Thanks Mason Soberg

Rain will not cause hydro-lock. I've had my injen for 2 years now and have NEVER had a problem. I've driven though downpours going 60 even. In order for the CAI is draw in water, you'd have to completely submerge the filter.

Well you guys can tell that to the Toyota Dealer that had my car for a month and in the end result had to replace a rod. Does anyon know if the AEM bypass can be used with the Injen CAI?

Sure... what's their number?

It should work if the piping diameter is the same, but hear getting the bypass pretty much negates the gains of a CAI. Might as well get a short ram.
