blinker goes on,but wont flash

its not on my celia,its on my girl friends car,.its an old car a chevy, but thought the fine people ontis board :) can help me out on wats causing this prob.and how i can fix it. thanks people

dont think so, if u turn the blinker on it lights up,but it wont "blink",it just stays on

Check the relay(s) for the turn signal.

One of the bulbs is burned out, or is too high of a wattage (did you put any new bulbs in recently?)

Alternatively, it is a bad relay.

Switch the bulbs, if that doesn't solve the problem, you know you have a larger problem on your car, most likely a relay like someone said.

no, if a bulb is burnt out, it will blink faster. The little 'timed relay' its what makes that 'click click' noise when the blinker is on, is bad, not uncommon. 3.99 at at autozone and its under the dash i belive....id have to check.
