its time for me to change my transmission oil~ im lookin at redline trans. oil.. what kind of trans. oil should i use?

1. 75W90NS (synthetic)

*Improve the efficiency of your transmission or axle.
1 qt., open differentials, 75W90NS synthetic gear oil

This Red Line synthetic gear oil is ideal for manual transmissions and non-limited-slip transaxles that use a 90W oil. It can be used in racing limited-slip units to increase lockup and reduce wheel spin.

2. MT-90 (synthetic)

*Improve the efficiency of your transmission or axle.
1 qt., MT-90, synthetic, manual transmission oil

This 75W90 Red Line synthetic manual transmisson lubricant is GL-4 approved and is designed for use in manual transmissions and transaxles. It provides excellent protection of gears and snychronizers and its superior stabilty allows high temperature operation while providing improved shifting in cold weather.

s.e.a.r.c.h

Is there some reason you didn't read the thread on this EXACT topic over in the Performance Mod section? Hell, it's still on page 1 for crying out loud.

tranny fluid = gear oil

It provides excellent protection of gears and snychronizers and its superior stabilty allows high temperature operation
that's a good reason you should get the MT-90. I just ordered mine yesterday

Not yet, but I'll probably put some in my Tundra soon (none of the other cars are auto's).

I stuck some MT-90 in a manual tranny. It made things a little smoother not that big a change, but it was more for my psychological peace than anything.

I stuck in some MT-90 in my gts too! It wasn't a big change at all... in the winter, it was still pretty hard to shift when you first started the engine, but when it warmed up, it was nice and smooth. Still, i expected more from it. I guess after reading all the success stories, my expectations were just too high.
