What price range are we looking at to get a WW kit put on?
Or any other kits for that matter. I was quoted $550- for
paint & install at Bodypros. Is that price decent? Thanks :)

Decent price - but why dont you just have it painted then install it yourself? Thats what I chose to do. Saved me a grip. Install on the WW kit is like 2 hours worth of work, and its easy work at that. The kit pretty much just slaps right on the car easily. If you do it yourself be sure to prep the body where the 3M tape adheres to first. 3M makes some "tape primer" that I had to buy (was not included with kit). Then just put the supplied screws in the fenderwells and your set.

I say don't go with RMM unless you plan on getting it moulded.

550 for a Wings West kit painted and installed???? Dude, that's a fricken deal. I was quoted 450 for the kit and to have it painted in Carbon Blue factory paint would be another 400 bucks. Then shipping would be 100 bucks. The total the guy quoted me was 950 for everything.

Thought I would share that. The painting part is the expensive part.

Mistrimeat: I know I would mess it up some how, so I just want to take it to a shop.

Acilec: $550- is just for the paint/install. I have the kit already.
I got it for $430- from our sponsor New Way Auto Sports.

I was thinking about taking it to the dealer to do it.
Their price is probably too high though... What do you think?

Yo CeliCraz,

I think the dealer will probably charge you about the same for the painting. I called New Way and got the same price quote as you did, but they also paint for about 400 bucks like I said. But it's expensive to ship. All in all, I don't think it is a bad deal from New Way. However, I would check and call all the dealers in your area and get price quotes and choose the best one. New Way told me they would match any price that I would find so maybe that's the ticket.

Let me know what you decide and find out,

take care,

Anyone know where I can order a pre-painted (Red) WW body kit from the net? All the sites I have checked out seem to have only non-painted WW kits.

Also, would it look weird just to have sideskirts installed without the front lip and rear valence?

I dont recommend doing it yourself. If you are going to spend money on a kit, do it the right way the first time. Get it molded at a good body shop. Trust me, its worth it in the long run.

... looks sweet too!
