how soon to wax?

I was in a minor fender bender and just got my car back from the shop. How soon can I wax that new paint?

Gotta wait a month to wax it, but it's safe to wash as soon as you get the car back. I asked the guy who painted the replacement parts for my car about it. I don't know if I can make it through a whole month without Zainoing my car, though. :( Hell, I washed my car in 40 degree weather the day after I got it back. Can't stand a dirty car. :)

My shop detailed my car for me before I got it back. Inside and out!!! I guess I have a few more weeks before the wax. I think I'll send it somewhere for that since in a few more weeks it will be hella-cold and I have no garage.

wait 90 days. if waxed earlier ur paint will crack. trust me, i worked at a bodyshop.

Thats like 3 months! My baby has to go through the entire winter witout wax? All that salt? Ugh!
