I have yet to attend a meet, and would really like to get one going. I know that Phase 7 has them all the time it atlanta, but i think thats a far drive for alot of people. I was thinking somewhere around Cloumbia, since it seems to be the mid point of everyone. If you guys want i could try to get one going here in HiltonHead/Savannah, but i dont think everyone is willing to drive that far. Any ideas anyone?

Phase 7 is an ATLANTA based celica meet....hilton head is a good 4 hour drive away....3.5 if you drive like mad. You should try to start a group on hilton head... Phase 7 started about 2 months ago and have had 2 or 3 meet...I'm yet to go to one cause of school and grades but one day i will make it :D

Take it easy and when near atlanta give me a call i will try to meet ya and hang out and i bet all the other phase 7 members will do the same.

yea, we're out of atlanta right now, but i'd be down for expanding and maybe having some meets out of town sometime. i'd love to have a savannah meet cuz i like going down there, but it would definately be a long trip for everyone. also, i'm not quite sure where columbia is (i know where columbus is if that's what you're talking about). we might could eventually have one in macon or something, it also seems like a decent halfway point. or if we have to, we can just wait til nopi or hot import nights later this year and meet up with everyone then. but maybe we can get something else worked out...

i would try to start up a group here but there is only two modded celicas anywhere near hilton head, and the other guy is my friend. Yea id deffintly give u guys a call if i was up in Atlanta. Macon sounds like i good place to meet too, maybe if we can get enough people interested we could get something going. Just throwing out ideas. BTW does anyone know when HIN is?

sounds good, we can see who all from around here might be interested in meeting up somewhere. and HIN is august 10 at the GA world congress center. anyone that plans on entereing might want to go ahead and register as soon as they let you since it seems like it might fill up kinda quick (or at least the florida one did last year so i couldn't go).

I wouldn't have a problem driving down there as long as I'm not the only one that shows up and as long as there is something to do. I hate being bored. HIN and Nopi would probably have the best turnout.

Does anyone know when the dragstrips open?

i found the macon dragway page (http://www.maconnationaldragway.com) but it doesnt' have the 2002 schedule yet. it might be a good place to meet up though. if we went, my house is right on the way to macon so we might could all meet up here and drive down together. although judging from the pictures on their page our imports won't fit in too well so we need to get some practice and show the domestic people that are cars are actually kinda fast.

It could be fun for us to meet up in Atlanta and drive down to Savannah. I would be up for it as long as I can make sure I'm here that weekend. I'll look and see when the Atlanta dragway opens. We could even make that a meet maybe.

If ya'll want to come to Augusta there is some cool stuff to do. It is an hour away from Columbia and two hours away from Atlanta. ill check with some freinds and see if there are any dragstrips or contests comming anytime soon. If not I think it would be cool to meet up all together at HIN or Nopi. Also a quick question. Where can I get some Hotchkis lowering springs for a good price? Thanks!

let us know if you find anything cool in augusta, that might be a good place too. i think we're kinda planning on all going to HIN and nopi together, but we got a while before we really have to worry about that. but i think i will register for HIN whenever they let you start doing it online. also, for hotchkis stuff, try http://www.hotchkistuning.com/
however, their springs are $252 and are probably real nice, but if you're looking to save a little money and get some that are most likely just as good, i'd look into TRD (only like $170 from www.wctoyotasport.com). i have them on mine and overall, they're i think they're really good. just a thought though...

Hey Cody, how many inches did the TRD springs lower your celica? I want mine dropped about 2 inches in the front and back. Ill look around Augusta for something to do in the meantime. Thanks!

You might want to get shocks to go with those springs. Unless you like a very bouncy ride.

the trd's only lower you about 1.3 inches or so. if you're looking for 2, you probably will wanna go with a different type then. just be careful if you get those and a kit cuz you'll probably end up scraping a lot, but i bet it will look good.

I LOVE my TRD springs and shocks. I live in decatur and drive to downtown Atlanta every day for work and they perform on smooth and bumpy remarkably well. I have had several people ask who makes my suspension cause the like its ride so much. I want a sunny day for a celica meet. We need good pics. What are we gonna do?

That is what I'm saving for now. The TRD spring and strut combo. I fell in love when I saw this picture that was posted earlier on teh Mod forum. Now I have a goal. Eventually my car will look similar to this.

that silver celi looks sweet duncan, that'll be cool once your's gets looking like that. and by the way, mb autosport does have the tie fighter wing listed for $349. (check it out: http://www.mbautosport.com/product_category_bodykits.asp?mdlid=18&yr=2000). oh, and roxanne, the weather this weekend is supposed to be sunny, you should meet up with us at the motorcycle show and we could all get some pics there.

That is one beautiful Celica, but I think I am going to go with the full Kaminari kit with their carbon fiber wing, that should be cool, By the way I am getting OZ F1 Cup rims, I don't know when but some time in the next couple of months, I agree we do need a sunny day for our next meet unfortunately I have to work all weekend and can't make the motorcycle show, but I should be done with all of the orders this weekend so maybe we can meet the first or second weekend in Feburary,

I like that spoiler but with a more aggressive body kit. The TRD suspension is the way to go for performance without scraping. Once you have a bodykit you will be glad you have them. I had to get used to watching out for dips and bumps when I went from a 78 lancruiser to a celica. The ride heights were a bit different. Where is the show? PE me your number so I can get directions. What size OZ wheels Mark? Whats the best price you've found? I'll ask my wheel connection and see if he can beat it.

i look foward to seeing the wheels mark, if those are the ones i think they are they look sweet. and yea, like roxanne said, the trd springs are your best bet if you plan on getting a kit (and don't wanna scrape all the time). plus, they're pretty cheap and you don't have to pay more for a camber kit and probably an alignment like you would with a bigger drop.

The Rims are 17x7 with 205 45 WR-17 on them, I can't wait to get them they are the ones that are a little darker then most alloy and they have yellow writing on them, The best price I have found was on Tire rack.com for 1500 with lugs and the wheels premounted, they were 250 a piece, I still need to talk to the guy that owns the detail shop next to me because he wants to sponser my car and said he can get me everything at pretty much cost will see, He said just bring him the number for OZ. I am not going to hold my breath though, so if you can find a better price let me know also I have all intentions of getting the TRD springs because they look good I don't like the look of a car that is slammed to the ground I actually drive my car,

Those wheels will look nice. The yellow writing on them will compliment your graphics nicely. They should be light too I think. Do you know the weight? They put those on a lot of race cars. I am being reviewed this week at work for a raise. I am hoping i will get a decent raise so I can justify going ahead and getting springs, struts, and wheels before too long.

These are the wheels you are talking about right Mark? This was a sweet car. For some reason they didn't race it this past season. The pic is from the 2000 season.

The Audi ran on Superlegeras, but the only pics I can find are too big to post. If you go to americanlemans.com and look at the photos section all the Audis used them.

Those are them I really hope they look as good as I think they will, I am not sure of the weight but it shouldn't be to bad

From everything I've seen and heard OZ makes high quality wheels. I'm sure they will be nice.
