A stupid dumb question about fog light

I have no idea how you turn on the fog lights on my sister 2000 celica GT. She asked me few times but I have no clue how and when the switch at. She got it used so no manual either. Also the headlights come on when it is dark outside.. is there a way to turn it off too? Thanks

Its on the same lever as the one on your turn signal and headlights, look for it. That is if the fogs came with the car when the original owner baught the car.

Nope, if you get a spoiler you have to get fog lights, and vice virsa. The fog lights come on automatically with your head lights, theres an install for full on auto.

In other words, you can not turn off the auto-on headlights. There is a switch for the fogs on the same lever, and they will only turn on when the headlights are on.

However, you can cut a wire in the dash which will disable the auto-on headlights. However the daytime running lights will also be disabled.

What I have done, and I recommend is to put a switch on the wire that needs to be cut for this to happen, that way if you ever need your DRL's or want the auto-on feature back, you can just flip a switch.
