This is a repost from the wheel & tire forum.

I am planning on putting 17s or 18s on my Celi along with a 1" drop and/or a body kit. The problem is that the winters in western Pennsylvania are rough and I really don't want to buy a second 'beater' car. I plan on putting my stock bumper on before winter hits, to avoid salt & stone chips kicking the hell out of my body kit.

Is there anyone north of the border with these mods? Are you having any problems in the winter? Any advise would be highly appreciated.

2 words.... WINTER TIRES

I wouldn't even drive in the winter the the stock tires let alone aftermarket ones

putting the stock bumper back on is a good idea...

I'm lowered and kitted and (unfortunately) drive in the winters and snow tires are a MUST. being lowered isn't fun in deep snow either so you may have to excercise some caution when driving (ie. not driving/mooching a ride/public transit)

I have a set of almost new winter tires for sale. Bought it for $620, selling for $275+shipping. They are Dunlop M2's.
