Okay, I need some opinions here, Yesterday I help install a S-AFC into my friends car and now he has the 3K problem. Ive read about this before and dont quite remember the remedy for this. What did you guys do to get this problem taken care of ?

is the wrirng, if remeber right, check it...i know u think u have ti right, i did too, but check again...patiently...good luck man;)

The 3k problem is when your car won't rev past 3k RPM. This is caused when the MAF sensor is not hooked up properly. You may have a bad connection. Look it over, and make sure it is secure. That should be it.

No problem. I ran into the same problem. My connection wasn't very tight, and that was it. Just had to tighten it.

Sure, it's just the MAF sensor connection. You had to bypass the MAF sensor signal to the S-AFC so, just check that connection from the sensor to the S-AFC to the ECU. It's open somewhere.
