anyone know of a place i can get these custom made... i also needs rings and seals... and liners would be nice.. i know that je custom makes pistons... any help would be appreciated...

call local tuner shops. If you dont have any local, make a drive to one. Tell the company that there is a market for these now that FI is more of a reality in your cars. See if they want to do a GB on them.

Most of the products for the Celica are going to have to be made custom and then released to the majority of the users here from shops. Cant always rely on big companies. Ask RacinJason for some other pointers. He is well on his way.

So Crower is making a new camshaft lifters and springs now all we need is a LC forged piston kit. We need to let these companies that think that all their market is in Honda know that people are tired of seeing Civics and to start working on something new.

Check out the mod/performance area, there are a couple of threads discussing aftermarket pistons and rods.

JE can apparently make a set of custom pistons for about $600. The other option is getting custom Wiseco forged pistons from monkeywrenchracing.com, which they say will cost less than $500. I'm looking at doing an NA buildup right now and plan to order up some 12:1 pistons. The same place said they're working on getting Crower rods for the 1ZZ and 2ZZ soon, so I'll be getting some of those too if they become avialable.

I'm pretty sure I've decided on staying NA, but as you can see I'm still reading the FI forum :)
