Hey, Kareem.
In Houston go to Joe Myers Toyota and a guy sells it over there for like 460$ or something. I asked him and he said he will get a pro to install it too for a total of 700$. Its a 50/75 adjustable wet kit.
$700 for a NOS kit and installation isn't bad at all.
If you know of anyone cheaper then that let me know cuz im seriously considering it.
Maybe we can purchase two and see if he can give us a discount.

The place I found will hook up an inline fuel pump that only pushes more fuel when spraying. I saw a system they installed and I was like Damn. everything was clean as hell.

i emailed www.speed-technoloies.com about a wet 50 shot for a '01 gt. they were very helpful, heres the response:
Coty,
To answer your first question directly, yes we do have a direct port kit that you can use. Before you get too excited, I want to make you aware of something. I shall address our bottle

Just got off the Phone with Tod @ Joe Myers...he no longer sells the kit due to Retail gone through the roof.
so i guess RW's 500.00 kit is it...anyone know how to install the kit? he gave me some pointers, but i am thinking about saving some money on the install...i got the electronics down pad that stuff is easy but the running of the lines is a whole nother ball of wax...
LarryD,
How was your Celica runing on the bottle? Did anything happen? What shot were you running? Did you run it to 8300? what was your No2 cut off?...Pics. please

thanks larry.
valkyrie: Road Warrior does not do installs and i am trying to get a purge for cheap...but i think one from Carboy is about 130. I took my car to them yesterday for an S-AFC and tuning. they did a great job on the install and the dyno showes 5 hp gain over whole curve. i recomend them but prices can be a bit expensive...

yeah
that's the problem, car boys can be 2x or 3x more expensive than other places
but they do a very perfect job
what about Nitrous wet direct port and then buy the Gen X support system?
how much will it be?

Standard EFI kit is about $500 thats all lines, switches, wireing etc.
Then you need the stuff they don't tell you about
Fuel Line to run from you factory fuel supply $1
T Fitting for the fuel line $2
1/4 inch or so hose clamps $3
Bottle Warmer $100..Must have, no heat=no pressue- no nitrous
Bottle Pressure Guage..Not a must, but when running a heater, you want to keep an eye on bottle pressure or you'll blow your safty valve if the thermastat on the heater fails.
Purge Kit $80(I dont use one, but they're nice to have.)
Then If you want to race a any NHRA track, you have to have even more stuff...
Blowdown tube $20
Blow down tube fitting $40
So all in all youll spend around $700-$800
As far as installs go, youre looking between $200-$400

Heya...
I hear our name pop-up and had to speak...
We are only selling the NX kit in Canada at the moment. The prices above are for Canadian customers, and therefore include things like import costs, and taxes prior to selling.
For those of you in the states, please - do as Larry suggests, and contact www.nitrouswarehouse.com - Talk to John, and let him know you talked to Larry, and Greg from Speed-Technologies
The guy is good stuff.
Our CDN pricing is quite reasonable, and we can generally do better than 'retail' on our site. If you are a Canuck, drop us a line. If you are in the US, best bet is to talk to NX directly at nitrouswarehouse.com
Coty: Rob sent you the mail, and didn't drop in a few of my comments... For the 50 shot - theres really no need for a direct port, unless you want to spend coin. DP is generally used for show in low power applications, or go in high power applications. As Larry probably knows - the Celi just isn't a 250hp shot of giggle gas kind of car, so don't waste your coin... (No offence to those who have done the DP work - it looks tight, and works great... just not 'necessary') Also - as I said - we can do a little better than the prices quoted in that mail. If you are serious about doing it, get in touch, and we can chat.
Cheers...
Greg

Welps...
I ordered from John at Nitrous Warehouse a few months ago. The guy is quite a talker...if you let him...he'll convince you to buy some land on Mars. Heh.
I still haven't gotten it installed(it's freaking raining 24/7 here in Tacoma so theres no point) but I got this with my kit:
GenX2 plus some goodies:
35/50/75 Shot
10 lb. Bottle
Auto-Bottle Heater
Auto-Bottle Opener
Purge kit w/Blow Down tube
All the electronics necessary with solenoids
I got all that for about 975 + tax.
I can't wait to install the damn thing...it's just sitting in my closet right now.....grrrrrr. I think right now...that the easiest and best way to power is N20 but if a turbo comes out in the near future..I WILL be switching to that pretty quickly. :D

Hey, Archangel. Do you know how much the base kit cost? I'm gonna add the goodies later on.

at least get a bottle heater. I can only get two runs off before I installed my bottle heater. Now with the heater, it packs a punch every run

I believe their estimates are about right...you're looking anywhere from 500 to 700 bucks...I got a slight markdown because of the GP buy that was goin on or whatever it was.
Just save your change..and grab that bottle heater. Also..if you want to run at the track..you'll be required to have those things mentioned earlier!!

definitely get a heater.. cuz seriously after about 3-4 runs your bottle is gonna get reallly cold and youll lose pressure..

Well, I was looking for a more specific price than that... I guess I'll just call myself.
And thanks guys, I already got a bottle heater and a window switch... I just need to get the main dish.
