i think toyota made it grey because it is the color that has the least reflection off the glass from the sun when driving... my plastic trunk cover in the back is in black vinyl and theres a little glare... but that grey color doesnt project a glare on the window

it makes sense. i just wish they did the interior a lil darker like the 03's.
