anyone wanna spring together and try and get some turbo manifolds made for the GTS?
something?
we could all order high comp GTS pistons from JE or Wiseco...it will cost less if they make several sets rather than one custom set.
12:1 comperssion....would it work on pump gas if we retarded timing?
we could all do a group install

11.5:1 is already high...
retarding the timing will produce torqe...
advancing timing will produce horse power...
11.5:1 i already dont like running 93 octane, with the higher comp, the pump gass will not be sufficient for gains... the computer will adjust for different octane ratings, by way of the knock sensor...it works with vibrations and sound waves going through the block...at the higher RPM the engine igniton advances untill the sensor is "heard"...at that time the timing is backed off...
to test this take a hammer and a rag tap the motor while running the idle will die down a bit..then come back...
12:1 with this higher comp. the gas will need to be like 104-109 octane, for the best results...this is not good for daily driving...if you do do this the car needs to be a project not a daily driver...
Kareem....hell i would but i drive too much...
PS all information mentioned above is my knowledge might be wrong in some areas, but i am pretty sure about most of it, so if i am wrong please post with, corrections.

David D. @ WC Toyota is probably gonna work on a GT-S kit as soon as he is done W/ the GT Kit. But for now Blitz is working on a SC kit.

you can ran HC and turbo on pump gas, you just cant be cheap about it and try to do band-aid fixes. You will need a full standalone and have someone to set it up right. And if you are the first just expect the worst because that means you will be the one learning the weakness of the engine.
