stock air filter -how to replace

Yeah, i know... I'm still stock.

I need to replace the stock air filter, and can't figure out how to get the damn black box apart. Anyone know the quick trick?

The second pic down is a good diagram. Specifically, steps 2-8.

there are 3 clips on the box, one of them is in the back of the box and sort of hard to reach. just pull them all outwards and work the cover loose.
