I had an '85 for a few years..fun little car. Handled well in everything but the wet stuff. Sold it for $100 due to rust in the hatch area. The engine still was strong even after 275k miles. They can probably be found for about $3k or less in reasonable condition...the hatchback is preferable, along with the LSD differential...good luck in your friends search.

im an initial D freak.... haha i dled all of them on morpheus.. as for finding one here, good luck. its been a long time.. ur best bet.. probably junkyard (sorry to be a pessimist).... and as for drifting..... if u master it..... u will be my hero :silly

edit: and btw.... AE86 is the corolla tag... whats celicas?

I own one currently ask away.
Well two of my friends and I do.

We bought it for 800 candian, so far we put tokico 45 way adjustables all around Gc's at the front and trd springs at the back with a Kaaz Lsd.
